" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

So it wouldn't be fair to the little ones if I didn't do a post about the fun they had while mom and dad were away. Grandma and Grandpa Catmull flew in to tend Britta and Kendyll while we went to Hawaii and they had a week filled with adventure. Here are some pictures of what they did. Grandma and Grandpa actually took more pictures of the goings on at home than we did in Hawaii.

Saturday morning before we flew out Grandma and Grandpa took Emma to her soccer game. Emma was a good little soccer player this year and has some natural ability. It was a fun season they won a lot and Emma scored! For more on Emma's soccer you can visit her blog.

After soccer we headed up to This is the Place for Britta's singing performance. She did a great job! We then had time for a quick lunch and headed straight to the airport.

After we left Grandma and Grandpa and the kids headed back to This is the place for a full afternoon.
This is Kendyll's first pony ride. She loved riding on the baby horsey.

The next day Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to the Treehouse to swim. Britta said they stayed until the middle of the night and way past her bedtime. It must have been really fun!

The next morning they took a drive up to see the temple site in Draper and then down to Thanksgiving Point. The girls really enjoyed it.

This was the stained glass picture Britta wanted Grandma to buy for her. Don't you think it would look great in her room?

We had a couple of days to spend with Grandma and Papa after we got home. We spent the day at Temple Square. We went for lunch at the Garden and then walked around and looked at the pretty flowers. We also saw the Joseph Smith movie which is always such a tear jerker. We had a really nice day. Thanks for all your help Grandma and Grandpa! It was SO fun to have you here!

Totally love the stained glass window, it would match Britta's room perfectly. I'm sure the church would give it to you.

What's up with Shawn and his dad both not smiling in the picture...you can tell they are related.

Those Catmull grandparents are too cute with the kids. I bet they just LOVE to be here spending time with them.
