Downtown

Once again I took the kids on an annual trip to downtown Salt Lake. Once year we try to go and visit some of the different church sites. We always have a really great time. We started out at the museum and went up to the children's display. The theme was I am a Child of God. They had lots of different activities for the kids to do.

Afterwards we made our way through Temple Square, and took some good pictures of the kids.

After that we ended up at the church office building. We went up to the observation deck and looked at the city. That was something we hadn't done before, the kids really liked it and it was neat to see the town from so far up. We then went and toured the Beehive House. After the Beehive House the kids wanted to ride the trax. So we jumped on and went to Gateway for ice cream.

It was one of my best days this summer with the kids. We had a really nice time, learned a few things, and felt the spirit.
