Little League football has got to be one of my favorite things about being the mom of a boy. I absolutely love everything about it! I love that Shawn and Jackson spend so much time together. I love the feeling of Jackson being a part of a team and making so many new friends. I love the late night sessions in front of the computer as Shawn disects for us the last game play by play. I love having the team over and letting them trash my house. I love the girls in their cheerleading uniforms. I love winning. I love seeing the boys cry when they lose because they wanted to win so much! I even love a good snow game. It is the best. The very best. I am always happy to see it come and sad to see it go. Can't wait for next year!
This year Jackson's team made it again to the championship game, except this year we lost. big bummer. The season was still so much fun. This is a snapshot of the team with the cheerleaders...go Hawks!
Shawn was the Defensive Coach this year. I know I am probably a little biased, but I think maybe he missed his calling in life...he is an amazing coach and he loves it!
Jackson wore is mullet wig for the championship game this year. So funny. He thought those big polynesians were scary with their long hair, so he put some on of his own. Best moment of the season!
