" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

NCAA TOURNEY

Shawn and I had the opportunity a few weeks back to go to Phoenix for the Sweet Sixteen with a group of friends he had when he was growing up. It is a pretty neat group of guys. They were actually a few years older than Shawn and he really looked up to them growing up. Anyway they take a trip to the tournament every year and this year the wives were invited. I was a little nervous about going seeing as how I didn't know anyone, but everyone there was so nice and we had a really good time.

This is a picture from our super sweet seats. This was at the UCLA/Kentucky Game. UCLA kicked rear, so the only real interesting competition was between the cheerleaders. UCLA had way skanky cheerleaders. There was a lot of hip shaking and hair flipping... really bugged the girls, the boys not so much. They did not even know how to yell or how to clap or anything. They were very lame. The Kentucky cheerleaders however rocked the house. Even though their players lost big time, their cheerleaders schooled UCLA. They were such a contrast with their ponytails and big red bows. So that is the NCAA tournament breakdown from a girls point of view.

Again the view from our super sweet seats.
This is the view from the seats we snaked in the elite eight game... much better.
Shawn is such a VIP
One of the days we were there we had the opportunity to go to the Mesa Temple. It was really neat for all of the friends and their wives to be in the temple together. The Mesa Temple is very old but very beautiful.

Anyways we had a really fun trip, it was good to get away for a while, to be warm and to make new friends.

I wasn't sure if you were being serious about the super sweet seats...until I saw the really super sweet seats and I knew you had to be kidding. Fun get away with friends, I am already due for another. I don't think I can wait until Tuacahn.

Looks like a lot of fun. I really like your hair. It's long, since I've seen you last. The wildlife museum is down by the trailhead at the south end of the city down by all the car dealerships and across the freeway...hope that helps. It's really a cool place.
