" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

Halloween!

Halloween this year felt like Christmas. Maybe it was because of all of the parties, the quantity of food we consumed, or maybe it was because we started the day opening presents.

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa wouldn't be the same without presents. This time for the kids birthdays. They loved everything they got.

Next it was onto pumpkin carving. This is always messy but so fun. This year all of the kids had a pumpkin to carve, and a grown up to help them.

After pumpkin carving the Shawn and Dad went to run errands for me for Emma's baptism the next day and the girls headed off to Atria to see Grandma Red and trick or treat at her place.

Peace..

Jacki you are such cute cowgirl.
Cute Max the gorilla...I think that is Max in there
Cute Kate the bunny, and Peiton the butterfly. Hollie you look like you might lose it any second.

The kids and grandma.

After trick or treating there it was time to trick or treat at home. We headed over to our good friends the Dana's for a kick off with pizza. It was a fun way to begin the night. Then the kids trick or treated until their hearts content. Even Kendyll stayed out until eight thirty. It was fun for me and Shawn to be able to go out with the kids, while grandma and grandpa manned the door. What a fun Halloween. So glad it is over.
