" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

Birthday Month

As usual mid October through November in the Catmull household was a whirl with parties. All four of the kid's birthdays and Halloween makes for too much partying, too much candy, and too little sleep. We had a fun month, here are the highlights:

Kendyll got to have her first birthday party this year. After four kids, mom has finally figured out how to throw a hassle free four year old party. We only invited a few girls from Kendyll's little playgroup, we did it while the other kids were at school, and it only lasted one hour. Kendyll had a nice time, and I didn't feel like I was going to need to sit in the closet for a couple of hours after.

Here are the girls... Mckinley, Bella, Vanessa, Kendyll and Hadley...

Here is the opening of presents.....
and here is the eating of cupcakes...

Party number one...over!

Party number two was for Kendyll and Emma with the family. Emma didn't get a friend party this year so we had the family over in between the two birthdays for cake and ice cream.

Party number two...over!

Birthday girl Emma..

Poor Jackson didn't get a party this year, just a couple of gifts and dinner with Mom and Dad at the Cheesecake Factory. We had a nice night just the three of us, eating and then some shopping afterwards. He is so grown up. I sure love that kid.

Britta was the other party we had this year. This one was chaos, complete and utter chaos. She somehow managed to convince me that we needed to invite eighteen girls...so we did. We first met at our house for cake and presents then we headed to Dimple Dell to swim. Once we got to the pool, it was cake. Britta has cute friends who stay out of trouble. They all had a great time!
