" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

From July until mid November our life has consisted of one thing...FOOTBALL! Who would have know that a pee wee sport could not only take up so much of your child's time, but your husbands time, your daughter's time and your time...it truly was a family affair, and really could not have been a sweeter experience.

Jackson was nervous about playing this year, but he is so glad he did. He hadn't played tackle before, and the thought of tackling and hitting made him a little nervous. But he worked hard all year and never complained. We were so proud of him! He made some great friends and had a lot of fun! Shawn also got in on the action as an assistant coach and really loved every minute of it. It was a great group of boys and awesome coaches.

The season started out a little rough. We lost the first two games, and didn't even score. But our coaches made some changes, the boys toughened up, and we never lost again! We made it all the way to the championship game, played a grueling match in the cold and snow against Bingham and in double overtime, barely pulled out the wind. It was awesome. Not very often do your kids get a chance to be a part of championship team. It is something Jackson won't forget. Thanks Alta for an awesome football program and thanks Jackson for having the guts to play and letting us have such a fun season!

Every halftime the parents and siblings would hold a banner for the boy's to run through...this just goes to their heads a little...

Britta and Emma were able to get in on the action by being cheerleaders. They cheered throughout the game and even did a dance at halftime!
