" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."

We Were Wrong Mom, You Were Right..

Early yesterday morning my announcement that we were going on a hike, was met with moans and groans from just about everybody except for Kendyll, who loves me the most, and Ashley, our neice who is staying with us, who who so sweet I can't imagine her moaning and groaning about anything. However I persisted and by one o' clock we were at the top of the trail of Cecret Lake in Albion Basin. It was absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous. We had a really great time and on the way home each child repeated, "Mom I was wrong and you were right going on a hike was really fun." They should know by now, that I am never wrong.

Kendyll and Shawn on their way up. Kendyll hiked the entire way up and she loved it.
