Jackson had his first baking experience today. I was headed out the door and he asked for a treat. I of course had nothing sugary in my home because I am always on a stupid diet so I told him I would make cookies in the next couple of days (thinking I would probably be skinny enough then to go off my diet) and he volunteered. Other than me getting the ingredients out for him, quickly and a quick explanation of the recipe it was all him under the supervision of Emma. I came home expecting a huge mess and cookies that looked something like I had seen I think at Jacki's house earlier this week but instead I found delicious, perfectly round, perfectly cooked chocolate chip cookies. I was so proud of him though I realize it doesn't come from my side of the family. We only burn cookies or eat all of the dough before we can bake them. So I am thinking it must come from the Catmull side. So if anyone has a request, Jackson's cookie shop is open for business.
Sorry Jacki- I don't mean to rub it in or anything.

Ummm you're forgetting how delicious my cookies are. Jackson must get it from me.
My heart has been pierced and I don't know if it can ever heal. That's okay I want Jackson to conquer since I am his favorite aunt. Way to go Jackson, why not bring your sick Aunt Jacki some eh? Come on Jacks.
Tag......you're it!
good work Jackson! They actually look really great, I am quite impressed.
what are you doing on a diet? You look great. How old is Jackson. That is one thing i've been so stingy at, letting my kids help cook. Our cookies are usually Otis Spunkmeyer from Costco. Yummy I need to go make some. Lunch anyone? When? I'll email ya.
Stacy, I can't find your email. Will you email me your info again. I'm so sorry. breezeavery@hotmail.com
Jackson,
Wowie, Zowie...you can cook!!! You're cookies were AWESOME. Very soft and chewy, I'm sure the dough is very good to eat just by itself. Maybe you could share your recipe (email it to me)...better yet, maybe you could just deliver a batch to me every Monday after school(make sure they're still warm). Thanks for thinking of us. You ROCK!!!
