All This and the Boy Can Bake!

Jackson had his first baking experience today. I was headed out the door and he asked for a treat. I of course had nothing sugary in my home because I am always on a stupid diet so I told him I would make cookies in the next couple of days (thinking I would probably be skinny enough then to go off my diet) and he volunteered. Other than me getting the ingredients out for him, quickly and a quick explanation of the recipe it was all him under the supervision of Emma.
I came home expecting a huge mess and cookies that looked something like I had seen I think at Jacki's house earlier this week but instead I found delicious, perfectly round, perfectly cooked chocolate chip cookies. I was so proud of him though I realize it doesn't come from my side of the family. We only burn cookies or eat all of the dough before we can bake them. So I am thinking it must come from the Catmull side. So if anyone has a request, Jackson's cookie shop is open for business.
