Shawn and I were wondering the other night why we hadn't heard anything about the premier of the new season of 24, which we are still excited about despite the huge let down last season was and the fact that Kiefer Sutherland would like to use the show to "inspire everyone to make a difference about climate change," (gag me.) So we checked the fox website (we are losers I know) to find out the start date and it has been postponed indefinetely because of ...you guessed it the friggin' writer's strike. I really hate to admit how much this is affecting my life but I really do LOVE TV! Especially good TV. I should be curling up with my husband each night after the kids have gone to bed watching tivoed episodes of 24, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Smallville, and likes. Instead we are watching bad movies like Bounce (you remember Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck in yet another movie where he plays the exact same character he plays in every movie), or tuning into my all time favorite the Fox News Channel. I am not sure how much longer I can go on. So when is it actually going to end and could they please come up with something else besides another game show, or dance/singing contest. The only bright light I have in my tunnel of darkness is at least Lost is coming back on, for a full eight episodes, so just as it starts getting good, it can be postponed so we can watch Howie Mandel, giving people fifteen chances to win a million dollars, and still no one getting the job done!

Enough with the Friggin' Writers Strike Already!

I feel your pain, but I'm actually getting into "Deal or No Deal" it almost made my cry last night (wait, everything almost makes me cry). You can always catch "Bring it on 23" or whatever on TBS or ABC Family, it's totally cool. Besides, Grey's is stupid now, all the good characters are gone (yet I still watch it).
Stacy you figured out how to make your blog spread out. Good job. I don't really watch t.v. anymore I usually feel my day with several workouts and eating delicous, nutritious foods. Haaa Haaa. Sorry 24 isn't on. They do need to stop striking.
I hate the writers strike as well. I am sick of it. We have been renting The Unit on DVD and we really like it. There are two seasons out and it has been getting us through. I wish they would just be done with it already. The writers strike ruined 24 this season, but wasn't it aslo that Keifer had to go to jail for a DUI?
Okay, so I looked it up and Kiefer was in jail for 48 days for his 4th DUI arrest.
