" We can't predict all the struggles and storms in life, not even the ones just around the next corner, but as persons of faith and hope, we know beyond the shadow of any doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and the best is yet to come."
Elder L. Tom Perry

Shawn in New Orleans

With our Nikken business, Shawn has had an opportunity to travel quite a bit. Sometimes I get to come with him, this time I didn't. He tries to tell me that he is going on these trips, to work, however all he came back with were these pictures, so I am not sure I can believe him. This time he went to New Orleans. He really enjoyed this trip. He went to the LSU and Ole Miss game and then he got to see the Saints beat Green Bay at Monday Night Football. If you know Shawn, you know that he LOVES football, so this was excellent for him. We have been to New Orleans before, and stayed in town, you know in the gut. This time he stayed with Harry, so he got to see a different side and really liked it. He enjoyed driving through New Orleans, and was suprised to see so much destruction from the hurricane still there and to hear people's stories about how they survived the last four years. He also loved driving through the neighborhoods, and looking at the historical homes, and seeing so much history.

The LSU game..
LSU lost to Ole Miss it is a rivalry that has gone on forever..so the Old Miss fans were pretty stoked.
